Structure Process for Self-Determination Program (SDP)
​​​​1. Orientation Sessions:
​Prospective participants must attend a two-part virtual orientation via Zoom.
2. Person-Centered Planning
​After orientations, participants collaborate with their circle of support

to create a Person-Centered Plan (PCP)
3. Individual Budget Determination:
​Regional Center calculates an individual budget based on:

The participant's past twelve months of service expenditures
4. Selection of Service Providers:
​Participants have the flexibility to select service providers:

Include individuals or agencies​​​
5. Financial Management Services (FMS):
​Participants must work with a Financial Management Service provider:

Assistance with managing funds
6. Approval and Implementation:
​Once the PCP and budget are finalized and approved:

Regional Center, participants can begin implementing their plan and receiving services.
7. Enrollment Process:
​The duration from initial orientation to full participation can vary based on individual circumstances:
